Welcome to our new Clerk to the Parish Council, Sophie Taylor.
Sophie has lived within the area for over 10 years and knows the community well. Councillors appointed Sophie on the strength of her administrative skills, professional background, and experience in communications and public engagement. She brings knowledge and expertise gained over a varied career working within Education, Health Services, and the Voluntary Sector, and has a strong clerical background. With solid community links, Sophie has a keen focus on contributing to the area, sitting proudly on the Governing Body of Coxhoe Primary School.
Sophie wants to ensure the Parish Council continues to run efficiently, is accessible to the public and to further improve confidence in the villages that the Parish Council has the well-being of the community at its heart. Despite the challenges for the area, the Parish are continuingly working hard to develop the next Parish Plan and ensure our villages continue to thrive and be great places to live.
In the interests of public accessibility and community engagement, Sophie is available to members of the public at the following times:
- Mondays 3pm to 5pm
- Wednesdays 10am to 12pm
