It is not just the Parish Council that hold public meetings. Many other agencies hold public meetings including the Police, the County Council and Health Agencies.
Sometimes these may have a significant impact on Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill. Where they do, and we find out about them we will alert you to them through this part of our website. We want you to have your say. It is not our duty to communicate such meetings that is the responsibility of the agency that calls them. However we want to help you engage in the things that affect you. We will try our best to help them communicate dates, times and venues.
Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill PACT Meetings
Durham Constabulary are dedicated to making your neighbourhood safer. If you have any issues affecting your quality of life and want to discuss it with your neighbourhood Policing Team then get involved in your local PACT (Police and Community Together) meeting. This is an informal discussion with the police and local partners to resolve the issues where you live.
The meetings are run and are attended by a representative from your neighbourhood policing team and will be specific to your area and individual neighbourhood priorities will be discussed. All members of the community are welcome. There are seperate meetings in Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill. You can find out dates and times of meetings from the Police website.
