We are pleased to announce that from 17th January 2014 we launched The Reading Room Book Exchange from the Village Hall. The facility is located in our newly refurbished room , redecorated by volunteers. As a result of the generosity of the community we have a brillant range of books that can be purchased. Amongst the range are:
- Fiction
- Non Fiction
- Biographies and Auto-Biographies
- Crime
- History
- Gardening
- Children’s Books
There are also DVDs and jigsaws to purchase. Books are priced at only £2 each. If you donate a book at the same time the books are only £1. All profits will be invested directly back into the village hall and will therefore hell to sustain this important community facility.
Please feel free to call into The Reading Room. We are sure that there will be something to interest you at low prices. Have a coffee while you browse.
Opening Times
The Reading Room Book Exchange is open between 10.00am and 12pm every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. However, with more volunteers and more donated books we hope to extend opening hours. Why not get along to look at our excellent selection of books. If you are able to donate books or your time to help run the facility then please let us know.
Remember that every penny spent goes into the Village Hall.
