Coxhoe Parish Council is a pro-active, forward-looking Council representing the villages of Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill. The Council provides excellent facilities and services to the communities they serve and prides itself on engaging with residents and understanding their needs.

We are seeking to recruit casual Auxiliary Youth Workers to join our Parish Council team for emergency and ad hoc cover for sessions delivered in Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill, provided by Youth Workers employed by the Parish Council. Our current team is made up of a Senior Youth Worker and a Youth Worker, and contracted or casual Auxiliary Youth Workers.

Offering varied sessions and events for children and young people over a wide age range, we take a young person-centred approach and aim to provide the best possible experience and outcomes for young people in a fun, supportive, safe, inclusive and positive environment. Our vision is to inspire and empower young people in Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill to fulfil their potential.

The role will involve supporting, organising and supervising fun, safe activities for young people both indoors and outdoors. There will be a need for a flexible approach to work.
