Public Notice – Postponement of Parish Council Meeting

Coxhoe Parish Council wishes to notify residents that the Special Meeting relating to St Andrew’s Methodist Chapel and Quarrington Hill Churchyard has been postponed.

Although the Council was quorate, the matters requiring decision are significant financial and strategic issues. On the advice of the Clerk, and in the interests of good governance, the Council agreed that it would not be appropriate to make such major decisions without a broader representation of councillors present.

The postponement will allow the Council to consider the matter fully, with all relevant information available, and ensure that any decisions taken reflect proper process and the best interests of the community.

A new date for consideration of this item will be published as soon as possible.
