Role of a Parish Councillor
Parish Councillors serve as elected representatives of the local community. Their responsibilities include:
-
Representing the interests and concerns of parish residents
-
Participating in the decision-making process on local services, community initiatives, and planning matters
-
Collaborating with fellow councillors and council officers to promote the wellbeing and development of the parish
-
Attending regular Council meetings and engaging with parishioners
This is an excellent opportunity for residents to contribute positively to their community. No previous experience is required, only a commitment to the role.
