Working as part of the Area Action Partnership (AAP)
What is an AAP
County Durham is covered by 14 Area Action Partnerships. These are each made up of an Area Forum and a Board with 21 representatives from local agencies, Councillors and Members of the public. Each AAP has a budget to spend on the priorities identified by the community at Forums. The Board, on behalf of the Forum, works with a number of key partners to tackle the things that local people feel are priorities in their area. Forums take place twice a year and are open to everyone who lives or works in the area to attend.
Coxhoe and Quarrington Hill are covered by the East Durham Rural Corridor AAP which covers a number of other settlements including Bowburn, Cassop, Kelloe, the Trimdons (including Deaf Hill), Fishburn, Sedgefield, Bradbury and Mordon.
